APOLOGIES FOR AUDIO SYNC AND QUALITY

Alex Salmond interviewed on Newsnight UK, preceded by some crap from Alan Cochrane and Iain Dale, plus a cornucopia of utter misunderstanding of Scottish politics by the EBC.

Note the lack of Ms Wark in tonight's program - surely not a reaction to this video:

  • who are the bbc trying to convince? their arrogance knows no boundries,,personally al be glad to see the back of them WHEN we are independent

  • Salmond promised to scrap student debt, not fees - £15k as opposed to £2,300.

  • It seems that the rebirth of Scotland is at hand indeed! More than 250 years after the Scottish defeat at Culloden the Scots are likely to once more free themselves from English dominance; which will force the English ducks to abandon their global follies like invading China for the right to sell opium there or to get a good bloody nose at the hands of warlike Japan or Germany; as it has happened in the last great war; Shakespeare may now remind the English of their nasty Scottish neighbourhood:

  • “For once the eagle England being in prey, To her unguarded nest the weasel Scot Comes sneaking and so sucks her princely eggs, Playing the mouse in absence of the cat, To tear and havoc more than she can eat.”

  • @cjmastablasta There are no Scottish waters, Scotland has no territory.

  • How times change.

  • @wullieready Absolutely! and lets have Sir Fred Goodwin in as Head of the Spondulicks and then what could possible go wrong, it wouldn't be just the Council Tax frozen then.
