This guy is GREATNESS. Love the way he talks, and despite his clear mastery and experience, there isn't a trace of pretense in his instruction, and you can see he still has a passion for kobudo. Great post, as all of yours are from Shihan Nishiuchi.

Great clip! hempev do you know or could you ask if Shihan Nishiuchi believes that teaching weapons to an adult first is ultimately more instructive ie later the empty hand techniques become more intuitive.

Nothing becomes intuitive until years of repetition and correction. No technique is any better than any other - it's how you learn it and use it that counts.
