why do you keep looking at them?

To everyone who says it's at 306 MPH: The game can't get exact decimals on speeds, so anything about .5 MPH is automatically rounded up. Say you got 218.68 MPH. It'd say 219 MPH on your speedometer.

he should make a video from start to finish. From opening the Playstation, putting in the game, start up screen, tuning, to running the car on the track. If what he says is true, then he can easily do this without CHEATING

@jamesstone123 what. a. cock.
your using the turbo code on action replay max - i did the same thing as i have the same cheat disk - when it reaches 251 it just shoots up, in the real car that would not happen dumbass

I do not use Action Replay, or any other cheat device. The speed is achieve purely from tuning the setup for high speed. The acceleration improvement once the car reaches 260mph is because I start using nitrous.

My Nardo has more HP and still can only do 242 mph! How is that possible? I have nitro fitted, too, but doesn't make amy difference. In the top speed.

It's all in the settings of the car. For a start, you need to make the gears long enough to cope with a full can of NOS without hitting the rev limiter at the end of the final gear. To get even faster, you also need to be make a lot of changes to the suspension/aerodynamic settings. Most cars (particularly for racing) are set up to have great handling, making them fast at turning corners instead of having the best possible top speed.

what else do you do

Well, turning off all the driving aids is a good start (though sometimes using a little traction control can improve the acceleration). You also need to make the suspension as soft as possible. When I'm tuning though, it's not uncommon for me to change every single value on the car, often fine tuning the gearing down to 0.001 increments just to gain a little extra speed.
