If the company I work for goes out of business I expect to lose my job. I do not expect the tax payers to keep paying to keep a failing business going. Besides other companies would buy a great deal of GM and keep making cars. The factories are in place so lots would stay open. It is not like GM would vaporize into nothing. Hummer has already been bought. That would happen with other lines as well. GM would have re organized smaller and sell parts off not simply disappear.

Well aparently giving Americans too much of a choice is what got Detroit into trouble in the first place. Who really needs an SUV....really a 4X4 station wagon with REALLY bad fuel economy. Is America actually TRYING to pump more money into their good "friends" the Saudis?
