  • Tip - if the light's as "bad" as you say, how about pushing the bike 10 feet to the left, not rocket science really!

  • The light is also poor 10 feet to the left. And to the right. In fact, the light is poor in the entire area. But thanks for the suggestion. Slow day at your end?

  • Thanks, I didn't know that. Of course I should state that I STILL think it's very ugly and also very silly; just like the new Minis (which are good cars, of course) covered with all sorts of "racing bling" even though the vast majority will never see a race track! Do you know where I can get a hook for that sidestand? It's a bit tough to reach, although I can do it. Thanks for your note! I LOVE my Beast!!! If you are in Vegas come visit me in hearby Santa Fe.

  • My dad got this bike when it first came out, he has had various Guzzis since the early 70s and recently got the V7 classic as well. I have been riding riding Japanese and German most of my life and this bike got me to appreciate the art of Italian motorcylce making. Altough it may have had its flaws, pariticularly with injection. Once tuned properly, it is a magnificant machine to ride, and for the heart. I was very sad to see it go when he sold it and I have been looking for one every since.

  • Hi, the oval you are talking about is for sticking a race number on like in the old days.

You got to put a newer sidestander on or fit a hook to this one so its easier to use.

I got a centauro and I like it! The sound and speed are amazing.Greetings from a 65 year old guzzi rider.
