Oldschool game: Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts on Capcom Classics Collection (Vol. 1)

This game was first reelased on the SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System). I really liked it, but just like the arcade games, this was tough as nails. But the new double jump, the more interactive backgrounds, and the scaling sprite effect on the castle in the intro are really lovely. The sound also really fits the game well.

Have fun with this trip down memory lane. For a game that isn't based on a arcade game, it still felt like it could have been one.

@carmacias19 indeed, the snes version looks verry good (for its time), but you really need superb skills to get far. i've seen video's from players with higher skills than me, and it's amazing how much comes down to memorizing the enemies attacks and walk patterns :-D it all comes down to split second timing :-D

@genx304 not even a bad idea. if i come home after work tomorrow, i will see if my keyboard has desend sounds to play the song. but i will choose the song from ghosts 'n goblins, the first game in the series, as that's the only tune i know reasonably well by memory :-D

My absolute favourite game is actually Ghouls 'n Ghosts, i find Super ghouls 'n ghosts extremly hard, but i like it also :)

@Sailorkamel all those Ghosts 'n Goblins/Ghouls 'n Ghosts games are tough as nails, but still i like them. maybe i am a sucker for punichment :-D
