@noddy3311 Most feral cats will not accept human beings as companions. One time, I caught a cat, and usually strays will not spit or hiss at you; this one did, and it wasn't just towards me. It was also towards anyone who was got near her. Feral cats can usually be tamed before they're 3 months old. After that, it's too late. The cat that I caught was 11 months old, and it was VERY clear that she didn't want anyone. That's why you let them go afterward you get them spayed or neuterted.

I am going to trap some neighborhood feral cats. This video helps...but I am still dreading it. I cannot imagine how scared the cats must be when caught. I know it is for their own good, but it is still going to be difficult!

@piratesmvp I know. It's not the cats' fault that people domesticated them and think they should just be pets.
-
@ohgoodjoy Yeah, that's why there isn't really any "humane" solution to this problem.
-
@piratesmvp Unfortunately the alternative is keeping them in cramped little cages and killing them because society doesn't want stray cats roaming the streets and feral cats are "unadoptable".

just give 4 or 5 kid a high powred pellet guns and tell them for every cat tail they bring in they get 5 $ and there will be no cats left in a week.

I helped at a cat clinic for a day, and while I understand that tis is useful, I don't see how people think this is totally humane. We act all nice and tell the cats, "This is good for you! Yeah, we'll just take your sex organs so you can't mate, it's ok!" I dunno, I just don't see how people think that's humane.

Your absolutely right. Cats are not indigenous. They cause tremendous property damage. I know first hand. They have a major impact on natural wildlife. They need to be dealt with. Cats need to have laws the same as dogs.

LOL at 40 secs. His mate bumped the cage and trapped him inside.
Hello Harris 1980
For adult cats I use a trap manufactured by Tru-Catch Traps.
MS-1 Model 30
They are distributed by Animal Care Equipment (800-338-2237) to various feed and pet stores.
There are smaller traps for kittens.
