Re: the last line; you ARE required to present your license, registration, and insurance in a traffic stop. Do what you are supposed to do or he WILL have a valid reason to ticket you or even arrest you.

**ATTENTION POLICE OFFICER**
I respect YOU and the difficult job YOU do.
I am NOT personally under your jurisdiction.
I am, invoking my Rights as a Citizen
I will NOT waive them
I wish to remain silent
I want a lawyer before you question me
I do NOT consent to being searched
I wish to be released immediately
Am I free to go?
Thank you and have a good day.
**THIS IS A LEGAL & LAWFUL NOTICE**

To be honest I'd much rather prefer to have the police actually find the evidence and then put the criminal away.
Otherwise, what guarantee is there that the man they set up to prove was the perpetrator actually committed the crime, and was not just another set-up of sending an innocent man in jail?

If a man has to consult an attorney in that case, something is wrong.

For anyone who cares,

Once a case in front of the US Supreme Court called "Florida v. Powell" is decided (and it will be in the next few months), the "Miranda warning" he gave may no longer be adequate as a matter of law. If Powell wins that case, the warning about the attorney being present will probably have to go something like "you have the right to have an attorney prior to and during the interview".

Food for thought ;)
