I say our constitution is WEAK and not perfict because it left too many things to assumption. At the time it was created there was common knowledge. And people understood what it said. But over time we have lost its meaning. What good is a contract that has ABSOLUTLY NO consequences?! Why did they not add "if the fed dose this... The people WILL do this"?

The paper has NO teeth! And we have no conviction!

@AfrikaaBombeetza the second amendment in our federal constitution tries to protect a natural right that ALL people have. It's the right to have any and all tools available to protect ones self from GOVERNMENTS! It's obvious that you should be able to protect yourself from other people. It's not as obvious for a government to allow its people to have the ability to kill and destroy the government it's self. THIS is why we we have a piss poor 2nd A in our constitution. Our constitution is WEAK!

@AfrikaaBombeetza guns are made for killing. Cars are for transportation. You are correct! Did you have a question? What are you implying? The comment I posted was to compare how people are ok with a certain amount of deaths due to car accidents. Cars are important and so we understand and accept death due to cars.

The right to protect yourself from a corrupt government is MORE important then cars.

That is what the 2nd amendment was written for. Not hunting!

@phanttom09 I also love how people point to the number of deaths caused by guns! If you compare gun deaths to deaths in cars you will see cars kill more people and yet we accept the thousands of lives lost to cars because we need cars.

How much more do we need guns?! I can live with the number of deaths to guns... Knowing they would be lower if people would arm themselves and take defense serious.

Can we take a moment an go back threw history? Ok now that we have do you see the countless lives lost to the hands of stronger ill intentioned people? Yea that right! If no one had guns people would still arm themselves and prey on the weak!
