Thanks so much! I have always sewn on industrial machines and my old steel kenmore and just got a Viking Emerald 183 today and have never used a drop in bobbin before. The instructions in the manual were VERY vague. This showed exactly how to do it in plenty of detail. Thanks a ton!

THANK YOU!! I started sewing today thanks to this video. It was very helpful for a clueless beginner like me. The close up shots are the best.

wow I'm so glad I was able to help you. One thing about the tread on the wooden spool, don't use the thread, they are too old, save the spools they are becoming rare.
happy sewing

first I need to know which sewing machine are you using - I need to see a picture to see where it getting caught at. I sound like your bobbin case is not in the machine right. Sent me a picture and I will be glad to help you

Thank you so much, all these other bums never made it so easy for me to learn, soon as I saw that loop I KNEW I DID IT RIGHT!!!
I'm wondering should the thread that's behind the foot should be cute after sewing.
