Passing to you my collected info. I researched this a while back, printed it and passed it out, and put it on my webpage. Hoping you find something use in this. I figured I could do something positive, instead of mouthing another complaint on the escalating gas price.
.
HOW I made this video:
I used the gas mileage text from my website, by copying the text into POWERPOINT and editing it to fit the slides format, making about 70 slides or files. Then saved each powerpoint.ppt file as a JPEG image file. I put the jpg files onto the video editor timeline, and added a scrolling end Title ("Thanks for Watching"). I adjusted the screen times for each slide between 2 seconds for short reads up to 4 seconds for multiline slides. Then after review, finalized the movie with my CUSTOM SETTINGS of 432 x 240, 2000 kbps, 30 fps, and no audio.
... No more material from me for next 3 to 5 years as retiring, moving to new city and traveling. Search on web the subject to find most recent and more guides.
It is meant only as information. I like mine dry, without a lot of production work of music, audio, background movement, foreground activity, etc. I am just not a rooting tooting guy. Best.

Not sure how to put a video in PPT. I tried the Powerpoint only once, for this, and I saved each slide to a jpeg, then joined them in video editor. Maybe look at the Help inside Powerpoint. Good luck.
