I know diesel and gas are different in many ways, that's not my point. my point is whether it be gas or diesel you should be able to listen to your motor and know what is happening under your hood. with or without a tach.
@hotrod1345 Actually gas and diesel are quite different, I mean they are totally different engine designs and diesels cant spin even close to the rpms a gas engine can spin. They put tachometers in diesels for a reason, and if you cant see them its bad because you might start to redline it, witch as we all know is terrible for a diesel engine.
what the fuck difference does it make between gas and diesel? Either way you should be able to listen to your motor and know close to what rpm range your in else you shouldn't be doing shit like this, Especially if it's your daily driver.
I can rev my vehicle and know what rpm my engine is at within 200-300rpm just by listening to it.
I don't drive a badass vehicle, I never claimed to. I never claimed to be cool, I'm a loser. doesn't mean I'm wrong.
@hotrod1345 The fuck you don't, this is not a gas engine, the sound is different, and so is the power, there was so much smoke in the cab he couldn't see the tach and he didn't want to tear his daily driver up, I agree with j5sully and rebel bike, lets see the videos of your badass truck. I bet j5sully has forgot more about horsepower and engines than you will ever know. You have got to be the coolest thing on the planet.
I never claimed to be able to know exactly what rpm it's at, I just said if you know you're engine you should know what it sounds like when it's too high in the rpms.
Gotta love exhaust smoke wit some blocks on the front tires and a lil bit of tire smoke

Hey, 0:10. I can hear the tires squealing, engine revving, but where did the truck go?? Pure badass.

@hotrod1345 i would like you to tell me exactly what rpms he was spinning at :15
:22 and :37. you should be able to handle it, since your not a dumbfuck or anything

@j5sully2012
as why I said, if you're not a dumb fuck and have half decent hearing you don't need a tach to know if you're in dangerous rpm's or not.
