  • What about hanford reactor A ?

  • @frog7227 There were eight reactors originally planned, designated A through H. As the design was finalized, the planners realized that only three would be needed. They decided to build the three reactors spread out, so only the reactors designated B, D, and F were built.

  • wait so...what kind of reactor is this? also what is it's purpose? If the fuel just comes out the back end than obviously it's not used for electricity.

  • @HedgehogStudios1 This reactor enriched the uranium fuel so that it could be used to create Plutonium for the atomic bombs in World War II.

  • where can I find all these interviews and segments together? this is absolutely fasincating

  • @mitch019850 If you go to our channel, and click on the series called "Hanford Site B," you will find all of the videos in the series. These were filmed for the B Reactor Museum in Hanford Washington. Glad you've enjoyed them!

  • Look there at 2:28 or so. A steam locomotive and atomic energy in the same context. Sureal.

  • Are there any chapters before or after this clip?

It seems as if it's a clip from a longer program.
