The Frenchman's Road crossing that I shot 407 at yesterday has a siding there, known as the "Sandy Cove" siding. After CN 120 passes by Halls Road, shortly after, roughly 15 minutes, at about 7:50am, CN 407 makes it way through with 5741, 2557, and a whole bunch of Autoracks.
Why I mention the siding is because of the short time frame between the two trains, there's a very good chance that 407 pulled into the siding to let CN 120 go by. Of course, if I had of been there to catch 120, I would have been right in the middle of the meet!
This is also video #1 of my 407 chase to Moncton.
So 407 originates in Dartmouth?

Yep. VIA and 121 originate on the Halifax side, 407 is on the Dartmouth side.
