you know why you hate new series of Scooby Doo? Because characters now have emotions and theyre own characteristic, theyre not mindless puppets with blank expression here like every other Hannah Barbera character ever made

@Malthus0 i guess that's kind of like the love-triangle in "harry potter and the goblet of fire", with harry, hermione and krum. the scooby doo love-triangle is very much the same. whilst hermione is in love with krum, and velma is in love with shaggy, harry and scooby are roped in because of their links to the pair - for harry, it's hermione and their friendship; for scooby, it's shaggy and their friendship.

@peoplesmemories Believe it or not the writers actually go for the dynamic you suggested. Shaggy feels guilty for spending less time with scooby. And Velma gets bored of Shaggy and scoobys antics & wants more time alone with Shaggy. Kind of a love triangle.
