Gibson 498T and 490R in Ibanez 540S LTD

I had to trim the video because it was 20sec too long, But here is the guitar I decided to store my old Les Paul Pickups in. It is a 1992 Ibanez 540S LTD... doesn't sound too bad with the old Gibby PUPS in it. Clarity is nice, Distortion isn't too bad either. I'm not really playing anything in particular here, just trying to get an idea of what the tonal ranges are with this odd setup in the Ibby. I am plying through my Fender Frontman 65, and using a Boss ME-70 for effects. Don't forget to lleave the standard off color comments, and rate with five stars! Party on Wayne!

@peelincaps That depends on what you consider backwards... If you are like me, and you enjoy trying out different ways of installing pups to see what tonal ranges they have, then there is no such thing as backwards. Since this video I have changed them out and put a Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge (The Manufactures Suggested way), and a Duncan Jazz in the neck...

I have a 2009 Epi LP Standard plain top wit 490's T & R . I love it . I try to play Blues Guitar . I use a Boss CE-3 & a Boss BD-2 , MXR Carbon Copy into a Carvin Vintage . It's GREAT .

i have the same guitar, same color. I put a paf pro in the neck position and a the breed at the bridge. it growls or purrs on demand :)

it seemed liked you where holding back(no offence) it seemed like you where holding back because mabe your a little camera shy or you where afraid of messing up.
