  • I usually railfan at the csx yard in south charleston, wv and all the workers there are friendly. I just have to watch out for this one guy on my subdivision that doesnt like railfans. Other than that, cool vid.

  • I know what you mean. Everybody I've met on any railroad has been very friendly but there always has to be that one guy.

  • Ugh, a K5LA on a Conrail blue...some things just don't belong together -__-

  • That lead unit is owned by CSX, it's not a Conrail unit anymore.

  • That is a c39-8 not a c40-8. Look up pictures of both and you will see the difference .

  • No, it is a C40-8. The CSX C39-8 units were numbered 7480-7488 and were scrapped/retired three years ago.
