  • is there a cd

    recording of this instrument

  • @bachluthology2 Check out Dan Miller Music online. He has 4 CDs that were recorded on this organ and there should also be a link on his site to order J. Marty Cope's disc, which was recorded there as well.

  • Hey moller11739, would you happen to know the largest stop on the Calvary Grand? Thanks.

  • I suppose one could say that the 64' Fagotto Cornet V would be the largest, but it is a resultant.

    There are 7 32' stops -

    Grand Cornet IV - resultant

Flûte Ouverte - 12 note digital ext.

Contre Bourdon - 12 note digital ext.

Contre Principal -(largest pipes I believe)

    Contra Violone

    Contra Bombarde

    Contra Fagotto - ext.

There is also a 21 1/3 Grave Diapente

  • I'd like to know where you can find the music for this arrangement. It is a very majestic setting. But i do agree, the acoustics don't appear to be all that good.

  • I believe it's from the "Crystal Cathedral Golden Collection."

  • So refreshing and uplifting. I am so tired of people strumming on guiatars and meaningless choruses. Everyone wants rock bands in church these days...

  • @istgone We'll gladly give it to you, if you promise to take it far, far away.......

  • what stops and switches did you use for this piece? the bass makes it so deep, and i love the bass on organs

  • The inroduction sounds like the Grand Choer Dialogue. I can't remember if it's Gigot or Marchand. Love the piece and performance though.

  • I love this hymn.

  • the best hymn ever praise the lord

  • love playing this hymn in church

  • I like the grande choeur dialogue intro!
