even though i am a huge american football fan, rugby kicks way more ass, and anyone that thinks football hits harder then rugby is a dumbshit, football is only truely entertaining when someone makes a HUGE catch, which is once every few games, sadly

Actually noles, your whole post is irrelivent.
The injury rates are proof enough that the pads don't allow for harder hits. They're their for protection.
NFL hits might look good, but they're shit and don't hurt because of the mass amounts of padding.
Ballet tights and NASA suits are homo. Man the fuck up.

@tomaylingwill i completely agree. i love both sports, and they are both good sports, neither is necessarily better and no one should argue about that.

i agree sport science did an experiment and with the pads on the force of contact is decreased by 50%

yeah its more entertaining rugby because you can only pass back and not forward meaning more tackles an it takes more skill , dont get american football though because i think catching a ball is easy.. =S

Hey this is a rugby video.
Both sports are different, and both are brilliant for different reasons.
I follow and like both NFL and Rugby, and both are great, and differnt, so they shouldn't be compared
