I presently can't afford a Vitamix. Would I be asking for trouble if I used my Oster? And lastly, if and when I buy a Vitamix, do you have any recommendations in terms of the various models or in terms of the features to make sure they have?

Awesome video! YOu are so happy and energetic. I'm sure the smoothies have a lot to do with that. I was out of greens this morning, so I had to wait until tonight to have mine, which was made with pre-washed spinach, frozen tropical fruit, one orange and a banana with water. It's so yummy.

I love your videos. Thank you for sharing this information. Question. Do you wash your prewashed spinach now because of the recalls? I would love to just plop the greens in the blender like your doing here but I fear it.

Great question. I, like you, prefer to just plop the greens in the blender. For a while after the recalls, I washed it. Now, I have gotten back into the ha\bit of not washing. I am not necessarily recommending that you don't wash it. You need to make a decision based on what is comfortable for you.
Thanks for your question.

shouldnt use tap water

It may have looked like I used tap water because we have a whole house carbon filter on the tap plus a reverse osmosis filter on the drinking water spigot. Great point though. Tap water is generally too contaminated to use.
Thanks
