  • What happens if you press add along with windows 7?

I think it auto partitions my drive.

    (I'm not good with partitions)

  • @HDMinecrafter123 - it would be easy to install at that moment but good for long run.

  • I am new to Ubuntu, running it inside of VMware, when ever I try to install an application, it tells me that it isn't authenticated, what do I need to do to be able to install applications?

  • @Gdayguy36 I've never used Ubuntu through VMware, but you may try installing application from a terminal if there is any permission problem (which appears to be). Try installing applications using the command -

    sudo apt-get install [app_name]

Or you can go to User Management section (Top right - > User Accounts) and change the permission settings as you want.

  • how long does it takes to install Ubuntu 11.10 approx

  • @klaytonrocks ubuntuforums(dot)org is a great place for help. Lots of experts there (and it's official)
