@kwhit009 He didn't shut down Pierce alone. Most of it's a team effort. Bigs making Pierce go into a much more difficult shot, the help defense's spacing so they can double team in a difficult spot, etc.

I dnt understand why the Heat dnt play with this scheme all season....one on one defense against shooting teams, simple jumpshots against the zone...making your free throws....what happened to LeBron James and Dwyane Wade FT's and jumpshots btw...it looked like it got better the first five games...
