killer7 - Target 00: Angel [1/8]

Episode 1.

Well, I only got a few guesses as to what GameCube game I was going to do a playthrough of, and none of them were even close. I didn't think anyone would guess this game anyway.

Yes, I'm going to do a playthrough of killer7. It should be interesting, as I am recording my first entire playthrough of the game. I started a new file (I deleted the old, incomplete one from several years ago) just for recording.

First of all, this game is quite violent and vulgar, so if you don't like these kind of games, feel free to leave at any time. With that said, I think this game is awesome. It's unlike any other game out there. Admittedly, though, it's really freaking weird. I don't really understand the storyline too much, but I plan on reading more into it once I go through the game.

You begin playing as Garcian Smith, who gets the mission objective over the phone. Not long after the introduction that features him, a cut scene plays in which a security camera spots him, only for him to change into Dan Smith. Yeah, don't ask. Dan then runs into a disguised Heaven Smile, then basically blows his brains out. He then meets Iwazaru, a friendly NPC who gives you "hints"; I use that term lightly because the "hints" tend to be rather cryptic in nature.

So you continue your way through the building. You'll run into Heaven Smiles, but these ones aren't particularly dangerous. Soon, you run into Travis, the ghost of the first victim of the killer7. For whatever reason (again, don't ask), he helps you out throughout the game. After speaking with him, you run into Iwazaru, and that's the end of this part.

The playthrough of the first level ended up being longer than I thought it would, so I had to split it into eight parts to fit onto YouTube. The next few parts will be posted later today.

This game is so awesome. Its what introduced me to the genious SUDA 51, and made No More Heroes a must buy when they announced it lol

Yeah, I'm really liking it so far. If you noticed, @ 7:35, I haven't touched the game since February 17th, 2006. I got too busy playing other games, and then the Wii came out later that year, so it definitely got pushed aside.

I still don't have No More Heroes either, but I definitely plan on picking that up some time. It goes for about $15 for a new copy, so it's not going to be a wallet-burner.

I actually am in the same situation with God Hand, I started it near the end of 2006 and well... haven't finished it lol (and I'm definitely going to restart when I do the playthrough in my vids).

yeah for $15 is more than worth it.

Anyway, have fun with the game, I will be watching the vids for sure :)

Yeah, there are a large amount of games that I haven't finished. It's a shame, but the main reason is because of college and work.

However, now that I'm on summer break, I hope to go through a lot of these games that I've been meaning to finish.

Actually, I did a search on killer7 on YouTube a day or two ago, and I noticed that you've done a playthrough of the game. Just wondering, have you unlocked the killer8 / hopper7 modes?

Oh Travis... Jeez, I hope that's not supposed to be the same from No More Heroes. I know it was teased, but... ugh! I looked this up after hearing about Travis showing up here, but yeesh I was not expecting an eyeless horror! I'm just gonna go fight Henry now...

I understand that about college and work, I'm in the same spot.

I unlocked killer 8, but not hopper7.

you need to finish Killer8 for hopper7, but the first stages are so difficult in killer8 that I haven't tried much to finish lol

I mean the only character worth using in the beginning is Harman cause he can actualy survive a hit, the rest of the cast just dies. OHKO lol.
