In this video, I demonstrate a keyboard I threw together for a school project, for the University of Washington Embedded Computing capstone course, EE 478. We found a RadioShack keyboard This project includes an Atmel ATSAM2195 synthesizer chip, PIC microcontroller, Arduino Duemilanove, and a Crystalfontz LCD screen with 6 navigation buttons. We implemented a navigation tree-style menu, which allows the user to set various settings, such as volume, reverb, chorus, and instrument sound.
This video was taken impromptu with no prior plan for what to discuss, so we spent too much time talking about certain things and not enough about others. If you have any questions about this project, please contact me.
