「Disgaea 4」 Episode 5: 05B ~ "Vulcanus" (2/2)

I put this up to show how bad I am in this game lol... so many mistakes plus I figured I would see if anyone got any tips too.

Here's some notes:
- I just realized that this is NOT normal difficulty, I previously (during Chapter 2) did a vote to "Make the Enemies Stronger" (not sure how many times I did the vote.. either 1 or 2 times).

- I just noticed how bad my accuracy was against Vulcanus (watching this video after encoding) which I have like 40-61%. Is it because she's much higher level than me (she's almost 9 levels higher). Or is the "Make Enemies Stronger" placed some factors into it.

- I did not know she could attack twice.. that really screwed me up bad. In fact, this is the first boss I actually had to play smarter than the usual style (you'll know my style if you watch my stream).

- YES, I know I should not have healed during the attacking... I could have taken out Vulcanus with my Mami and Yumi's nonstop Heart Cannon barrage if I didn't break the Combo due to healing (huge lesson learned here).


Basically the way I see why I was close to losing (even the streamers were having a bet if I was going to win or lose... ):

1) I didn't know Vulcanus can attack twice and she was the major threat... which can easily wipe my characters with AE attacks.

2) I have a feeling having the "Make Enemies Stronger" did play some factor too.

Well. Since Vulcanus uses a gun here and it´s attack power is based on Hit & Speed the higher lvl she is the more speed she has and the harder she is to hit.

So given that she is a boss character with slightly elevated stats, dual wield guns that increase hit & speed she is hard to hit.

Basically yes, the harder enemies note passed along with her weapon of choice and such make her very hard to hit from the front and sides.

I beat her with two or three characters left on my first try :)

I also messed up a lot on my first run. That's what's fun about this game. You never know what to expect in some battles. The atmosphere is so wacky and fun. ^^
