  • is that chord you play not a fm7 not dm7? the one on the first two strings first fret 3rd string second fret. i may be wrong :)

  • I've always known it as Dm7 as you strum from the 4th string. it would be an F if you only strum the 1st 3 strings

  • no, I meant I do F as a barre chord and you seem to do it a different way to me (without barring) so just wondered how u do it?

  • I bar the 1st 2 strings with my first finger and the 6th string with my thumb with an E shape on the 2nd fret. Or you could forget about the thumb and just strum the top 5 strings.

  • how do u do an F without barring it?

  • I'm Afraid there is no easy way of doing F's and B's you just got to practise them. once you get them it opens up the whole fretboard. Keep at it!!

  • Hello to the UK

Thanks for taking the time to teach, as with alot of Bowie(the great), his songs can be muffed along with some OKness or,,, they can be played properly.

The lesson was killer and I appreciate the time you took to make the vid, I know changes now. Fuckin love Bowie

  • It's easy to take all these youtube lessons for granted, but I'm very very thankful that talented guys like you take the time to do these. They're extremely useful and of course fun!

  • really good stuff man, thanks for the great tutorials =]

  • thanx for this. did you make this up?(your interpretation)is good

  • play a C major chord and then move your middle and ring finger both down one string, down as in higher strings. it should look almost exactly like a c except without the space on the g string.

so the b string gets a finger on the first fret. G string on the second fret and d string gets the finger on th third fret.
