yeah, I know Regine is capable of singing even if she's very ill. I think the "contagious" factor was also a reason why she couldn't go to the concert. These days, having a fever is cause for concern. Because of the swine flu scare, anyone who has a fever these days is ordered to have limited contact with other peeps to prevent possible spreading of the disease. Just to be safe.

yeah, she was coughing during the concert. Alot of her songs were transposed lower but she still did amazing considering the circumstances. :)

ano bayan.. boring... chaka walang man lang goosebumps factor.... look at the audience.. halatang disappointed... yan bang mgaling at kita nyo naman si Regine V. na kahit wala ng boses paos na magsalita and yet can belt and di obvious na malat unlike eto si Charice sobrang baba ng boses.... eh di kung sana anjan pa si Regine eh di LALAMPASUHIN SYA... it was even KIND of Regine not to appear kasi kung hindi mapapahiya ang CHARICE nyo.. and sabi na ngang may SWINE FLU sya so she needed isolation

@peoplethinker it's not a matter of mababa or mataas... charice has proven many times that there's a lot of songs that she can sing that regine and the others can't (listen and one moment in time apparently can only be sung by a few people). but there's more to her singing than reaching ang tuktok ng everest. she controls it well (regine's not very good at this) and the transition from her low key to the high keys is seamless.

@peoplethinker i've seen regine's ikaw ang lahat sa akin, ikaw as well as lupang hinirang. they were perfect!! way better than charice, sarah etc. she's mastered tagalog songs. but when she does english songs, it's really not good. i dont know why. it comes out as screaming and mali ang pag pronounce. believe it or not there's diction in music. regine should concentrate on improving her english covers. pero kung kuntento na sya, there's nothing i can do about it but to avoid her.

@peoplethinker people like you is the reason why regine is not improving. she thinks there's nothing wrong with her flat performances with burst of unbearable screaming . this is the kind of standard that produces mediocre idols. whoever dubbed her asia's songbird must be thinking of a bird thta knows it's about to get slaughtered.

Actually i've watched the concert, disappointed din ako..I expected more...Daming notes na dinaya...Bitin ang mga birit..nakakapanghinayang!! She didn't belt it all...sayang..may sakit daw kasi..pero sa totoo I've watched regines show b4 she's also sick but she she still belted it all out..Anyway...I love them both good luck.Sana mag ka concert kayo together..mwah!!!!
