  • Can anyone Tell Me/Send me a message on where to get this Spectrum Analyzer Application from? And can I used this on my Apple ITouch?

  • The kickport is the best thing i've ever brought for my kit. I sure glad i didn't see this before buying it, or else i wouldn't have one.

  • the kickport guy looks like billy cobham!

  • soooooo 240p we meet again...

  • @mdrumt no. you can only tune a bass drum so low. the kickport allows you to drop the pitch and get rid of the "clicking" sound without having to have a floppy batter head. I was really skeptical at first, then I tried it on my gretsch kit. I can use a plastic beater and not have that clicky noise when miced up. Haven't had a complaint from a sound guy about my kick since I put it in and several bought them to shove in other guys' kicks when there is the nasty click. just try it.

  • yep, agree with the com below !

The iphone mic is not true below 150 Hz ! and beyond 8khZ !

  • @WirSindRocker

you nailed it. really guys, if you want to try to appear like you are remotely intelligent in regards to acoustic engineering and spectral analyzers, at least go get a legitimate one.... thats like saying, check out how legit our recording studio is! but we only use webcam microphones to record with...

get the right tool for the job and conduct yourselves scientifically. this just comes across as a VERY poor sales pitch; about on par with "as seen on TV"

  • @mdrumt Well, tuning your bassdrum lower might affect the feeling you get. Loose batterheads have fewer rebound. Some people don't mind that, I do. But I'm not going to get a kickport anyway ;)

  • that sounds fat

  • Couldn't you just get a similar affect in deepening the sound of the drum by tuning it lower?
