Religion is a babysit for adults...

If they can't explain things the person who wrote the bible( probably under influence ) made up stories to make adults having something to turn to when they dont know.

We do not get our 'morals' from a book or any text.

If all religious text disappeared...people would not randomly go around killing other people. I will not just start stealing and cheating people.

I like what you have to say...it shows that interpretations of stories can make a huge differences in how we view the book.

Morals are instinctual, they are learnt...with or without a holy book.

I don't think your comment was needed, we are on opposing ends. Religion asks you to follow blindly, to never question, to believe without doubt. If you truly believe he is going to this "hell" because he doesn't follow your 'god', you may be in for a surprise if and when you pass...I'm not saying there isn't an afterlife but you restrict your ability to learn by believing in this 'repenting', 'following our god' nonsense.
