Is College Worth It?

We go to school for years and work for somebody.Get good grades and get yourself in debt.

We been told to get JOB all the time.JOB means Just Over Broke.

It's too many people with college degrees! The number of people in the population (i.e. approximately 6 billion people) doesn't add up to the small amount of jobs being created!

What Marty Nemko was saying is that it is the students who are smart and motivated in making a successful career throughout four years, not a degree after four years. If college made a good choice in selecting committed and bright students with prepared skills and experience, then ther eis a guarantee.

@morasinlove College gives you the skill though but it doesn't guarantied you a job or success in life.Even college graduated can't get a job sitting around blaming people and the economy.It's not the economy fault which is their fault instead of taking action.Most people in this world have fear! @TubeExpression thats not always the case. i work in the heath care field and a few of the doctors ive worked with admit that they dont get paid the average salary people think they make. oh and as far as law schools well they give aprox 40,000 law degrees a year they also claim to have a 90% employment rate but what they dont tell u is even if their students dont get a job in the filed they are still considered to be part of that rate even if they are employed at Walmart! college is a big scam!

@123nypd but hey, don't take my word for it, the more of you who keep your mindset, the less competition there is for guys like me looking for nice jobs in the DoD. so yeah, you get killed after you graduate. >>

@123nypd you can get a secure safe job in the DoD that doesn't require you to get deployed. There are plenty of land base jobs for those with college degrees in research and development, teaching, maintenance, culinary arts, you name it. just b/c one joins the military, doesn't mean you're on the front lines. look it up if you don't believe me.
