These videos show some of the interesting properties of Liquid Nitrogen. This one shows the Leyden frost effect which is what happens when a liquid is being heated so fast that it is boiling and giving off its gaseous form which results in it having low friction [like an air hockey table] and moving around in many independent droplets rather than pooling or coming together.
