@018e4 whats right with it lol...I would bet that its not meant to handle stress loads and the crank shaft will snap. Or it wont have enough power to spin the tires in the dirt. Either way you get the point.

Check out the Engine at ConleyPrecision. com.
The engine is to new to answer the maintenance question.
Not sure what engine you're comparing to. Cox, like an .049 ??

@rcWizzard I just happened across your vids last week and recently watched you fire it up (digger) and make an attempt at driving it.... incredible sir - just incredible. Just curious, what do you pay for a little v8 like that and how much maintaining does it require? In your opinion is it worth it vs a cox or etc/ It sure sounds cool.

excited to see more progress on the sprint car! great job, love the craftsmanship and attention to detail.
why would you got to all the trouble of making this sweet ass 1/4 scale grave digger and spend all this money and not make at 4wd and 4 wheel steering??? i know you think its gunna take away power and everything but wouldnt you think it would be way cooler and more scale and more realistic to make it 4wd?

Doesn't it make sense to get it rolling in 2WD first. What If I have to redesign the gearing, what if the steering servo isn't strong enough? I'd rather remake 1 axle than 2?

@rcWizzard i suppose, but when you get it working good in 2wd will you ever think about changing it to 4wd?

Depends on how it performs .
