The Writing Studio hosted its annual Writer's Café, where select students read their creative works to a capacity crowd of campus community members in the Maxwell Library's heritage room. The presenters, the title of their works and the genre are as follows: Wilson Castillo, "Losing Was Never an Option," essay; Alex Garr, "The Sound of Silence," poetry; Julianna DeVasto, "Optimistic Prime," poetry; Kenzy Clerdonna, "Hands," poetry; Michael Duteau, "A Dream," poetry; Jean Kesner Mervius, "I Am a Survivor," essay; Kirsten Ridlen, "Monsters Will Persist," poetry; and Briana McDonald, "The Spider," short fiction.
