  • i have a batavus starflite with a m48 laura motor. the belt isnt catching... do you know what size belt i would need to get?

  • @majudua I really dont know anything about these mopeds.

  • The wire you're in your hand, where's it connected with?

And how do you start it?

  • The wire is actually the throttle cable. I started it with a drill and socket on the flywheel bolt.

  • Sounds great, may I ask what Carb, Intake and other mods you have done to it, and what this is going on?

  • I was trying to get it running. The original carb looked in bad shape. I bought the generic one from ebay, search for 'carb 49cc' and you should see a description that says 'carb 2-stroke 49cc pocket bike/scooter/atv ...' for $12.50! I fabricated an adapter to go from the flat 2 bolts on the carb to a hose and clamps to the stock ontake manifold. To my surprise, it worked great!

  • god i love 2 strokes.

wish all stupid lawnmower engines were 2 strokes. Loud but with right muffler would be fine.

All those lawn 2 strokes would make great gokarts.

  • my carb kept getting clogged and i cleaned it like 100 times then i cleaned my gas tank
