  • Listen to that Napier purr. Great vid!

  • What a brilliant idea. Doesn't it sound good when they give it a bit of welly. Now, who wouldn't pay for a ride behind that?

Still sounds like a bag of spanners when they shut it down, though.

  • Can't believe they scrapped all the class 23's. However, we can recreate anything these days right? a baby deltic is nothing more than bluebrints and steel, we destroyed all the originals, lets remake one using skemetrics and modern day electrics and technology! just like the original without the reliability problems!

  • god thate sounds good

  • @douro20

    Pardon me, I meant T9-29.

  • @droon124

No, because it has the smaller T9-39 Deltic and it's a smaller locomotive.

  • are they called baby deltics because they have lower noses?

  • are thay dowing eny thing whith thate 87

  • isent thate a old vintige 37

  • @pwormald Is this engine actually ised to run the 37372, or is it used for auxillary power purposes?

  • Did they have to 'Cut and shut' the tractor's body as they weren't as big as the 37's
