  • wtf when did he come to los gatos? this church is right across from my house and I didn't know about this? Wow, I am more depressed then losing a winning lottery ticket

  • DELLA FREQUENZA what I call..most important thing to aquire in every voice even POP! All he needs to do is clean VOWEL INTEGRITY and keep lo SBADIGLIO. A great voice INTEED!!! Good LUCK I hope you do great Christopher Bengochea!!

  • Bravo!!! Audache for the top D! Being a canzone Napoletana , he sang it "a gola piena" as they should be sung. Some more balanced mezzavoce would have been nice...will need that for aria and opera..or the voice will tire. I read some of your comments about lack of ping or ring ..squillo to be exact...squillo is overtones from the mask, its effect largely dependant of the facial bone structure. The fact that the voice is connected as wonderful as it is tells me that he has found the LINEA

  • 3:52 TOP D!!! fantastic Veramente bravo!

  • AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! VERY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

  • Lovely voice! Really beautiful technique and ring.

  • @jbjcurly I think he would sound glorious in a big hall.

  • I've sung with him before as well, and there is plenty of "ping" in the voice. This must be an acoustical trick of the room, or recording. The best part of his singing is how supported it is throughout the voice. Great legato and a constant vibrato that carries the voice from pitch to pitch. Bravo Chris.

  • Yes, it is a good instrument. The problem is these kids are not getting the right training & pressure is on them to sound so dramatic, or risk not getting the work, when the voice is not ready. Remember, all the good ones-not just the great ones, had that "ping" long before 28....even me.

Happy Holidays!!!! .....& good luck with your own singing.

  • I've had the good fortune of singing with him twice, now... Perhaps that "ping" will come with time... He is rather young, after all. Perhaps 28 in this recording? Anyway... Pretty freaking awesome.
