Okay.

Let me first of all say that I'm not bloody *happy* with the Nelo 2 fight. However, I'm not redoing it, because a) I tried to redo it for an hour and a half with no joy, and b) I can't be arsed trying for several more hours or days :-/

It's not terrible - but I'm nervous and it results in a scrappy fight. For example, I go for parries to stun Nelo and miss him or hit him, but don't stun him.

The single most bastard annoying thing of all is that I did an earlier run which had a far better Nelo fight! But I took a hit at the very end! Jesus christ, I was never so tempted to upload a run with a hit in it. Anyway, I'm not gonna get that quality again - I can just tell =/. What I might do, though, is do a Nelo 2 fight by itself - just 'cos I'm really not very happy with this one.

The rest of the mission is flawless, however - I couldn't have done better there.

Oh yeah, I went a bit over time, but I accepted it, 'cos I figure the unknown time allowance for the Secret Mission should have made up for my 15 seconds over time, anyway :p

Blades. I've not played DMC4 but I know that Assaults are basically Blades from DMC1.

how did vergil become nelo angelo? and how come we cant watch the fight scene with vergil and mundus in DMC3 :[

We don't know any more than what the bonus scene at the end of DMC3 and DMC1 shows us, ie, almost nothing.

Vergil fought Mundus. The assumption is that he lost and was enslaved or brainwashed by Mundus. The fact he doesn't recognise Dante in DMC1 and reacts so badly to Dante's amulet supports the brainwashing hypothesis.

I meant to say Devil May Cry 3. Devil May Cry 2 was so bad that it might as well not have been a Devil May Cry game in the first place which makes Devil May Cry 3 the true sequel but I'll leave this for the Devil's Lair forums.

Not entirely sure what went wrong with the Nelo fight, but then again I had no idea what you were aiming to do. I did notice that the second inferno didn't land properly, sometimes your combos were broken when he parried and you were knocked too far back, etc. But hey, you did it in good time and you weren't hit. Looked fine to me!

your fight against Nelo was awesome, I belive in you about what you said you can do it better but you did a lot better than my most times against him. somtimes i dont get hit by him, but Im that much good as you using itfrit blocking his actions pretty easy as you did. not always works with me. lol
