In this video i compare the Drop Tune functions of three pitch shifting pedals. The Behringer and the BOSS do harmonies, detune, whammy and flutter as well as up and down pitch shifting. The Morpheus only does down chromatically 7 half steps.

  • does the US600 pedal go before or after the Distortion pedal

  • @AwesomeFunnyFilms it should go before the distortion. harmonizers track better on clean signals.

  • Hi gary, since you're obviously a Star Wars fan you may not find this question so odd. I'm in the 501st Legion, with both Boba Fett and Stormtrooper costumes. I'm trying to help out our resident Vader, and was wondering if the Behringer or the Boss would work to reduce a vocal pitch to a decent Vader level. I play bass guitar and have worked a bit as a sound guy, so I know how the pedals work, just not sure if the effecy would work on a voice well enough. Thanks Gary.

  • @timmerred5 they should be great for dropping vocals as well. may the force be with you.

  • @AwesomeFunnyFilms

I just bought it: two probs: latency in drop tunings and with expression pedal EV5 doesn't work properly - I've tried ALL possible combinations and it only goes from a 3rd to a dim 5th above the signal. No octave whammy stuff ;( any suggestions?

Thanks a lot for the reviev.

  • @lizardgizard222 nope, haven't. how is it?

  • @sup1967 Thanks man and have u played the new degitech dt?

  • thanks guy!!

  • @lizardgizard222 i havent tried it with a drop tuned guitar but it should work fine, i'm just guessing tho. as a drop tune pedal it works amazingly great, and for the price you cant beat it.

  • Hey bro i was wondering if the Behringer can handle drop tunes and its not true bypass right? i have the morpheus drop tune and like it im just seeing if there was somthing even better so i can record almost perfectly with out de tuning the strings. Also i saw the reviews on the dejitech whammy was really good for drop tune

  • @BenWillWinThis sure there is, if no cable...no sound.

  • @djstixtrix its hard to tell in the video but no, flutter is an alternate whammy type effect.
