Cammed LS2 GTO vs Stock 5.0

GT has axlebacks, and the GTO I believe is cat-less and has longtubes. Maybe the owner will chime in on that *cough cough*

@wignigeater They where auto's and they where running high 10's.. But my goat has Cam, Nitrous, Heads..... But i know if the 5.0's where cammed they would probably run all over my goat heavy ass.. But hey thats why they make bigger size jets :-)

@ralphtime They must have problems, major ones (drivers.....) , because they make serious power with full boltons, and a tune. I make right at 465whp with my goat, and the usual bolton/tuned 5.0 makes 430 whp...if it's an auto and tuned....FUUCCKKKK those things shift fast...it makes my shift kit feel slow n soggy lol!!! Nitrous 5.0s are mean fuckers. Manny @ HPP has a KB 5.0 that makes over 900whp on the stock bottom....talk about a mean fucker! American cars, fuck yea!

@wignigeater Yea it's Heavy as shit.. I own a 6.0 as well.. I have beaten 2 full bolt On's 5.0 with nitrous... But bolt on to bolt on... The 5.0 is the faster car hands down..

Stock for stock the 5.0 will walk all over the gto throw some cams on the coyote like the gto and bye bye 6.0

@ralphtime the 11' GT is way faster...I own an ls2 gto with cams etc, but it's not crazy fast w/3800 lbs...it's a fucking pig.

@zebsmith100 Stock 5.0 Is a little faster then a stock 6.0.. The weight is a big difference. Plus the 5.0 comes stock with Shorty Headers
