@LovingRaw But, painful thinking is a result of painful experiences. It's like the exhale after the inhale. Pain seems to exaggerate reality. I'll have to think about the differences between normal and natural. No, worry never changes anything for the better, no matter what. In fact, it makes things worse. Humanity has developed several emotions that don't help us. For me, the worst thing is the hard transition out of the dark. I purposely seek out your videos, because you like helping people :)

Overall, a very good video. To me it is ironic that the concept to "not sweat the small stuff" is contrary to focusing. In other words, focusing is all about the DETAILS, the small stuff. It is great to be able to omisciently step back or above or beside oneself--to be the observer. The times I am able to do it are few and far between, but it is invaluable....Yes...abandonmen
t, rejection, resentment, disrespect--even by total strangers--in the grocery store or traffic...hard to know how to deal. -
thankyou for sharing

thanks for sharing!
Emotional pain is not fictitious. It is reality. How does playing it down solve anything? I think this pain should be worked through. But, during the most painful times, it is very hard to shift. It is easier for you because you have years of practice. Shouldn't this shift be gradual? Otherwise, are we really thinking positive, or are we kidding ourselves? Are you saying that worry is not natural? Your videos are interesting, but how can a person think positive after multiple harsh experiences?

@Lisa3679 Emotional pain is a result of painful thinking. I have had 3 - 5 years of thinking this way, and am quite young considering. All shifts are gradual until an understanding is there. Then its just a matter of shifting your awareness in regards to the issue at hand. Let me ask you... has worry ever changed anything? I agree it tends to be normal, but it doesn't have to be natural. How can a person continue... I used to weigh 400 lbs and was teased all my life, trust me, its possible.
