The "Oniyuri" (Tiger Lily) katana is a custom made 9260 spring steel blade specialized for practice by specific ryu-ha of the Bujinkan Federation. The blade body is a 9260 silicon alloy carbon spring steel. Blade is a unique 23" and handle is an even rarer 14" in length. It is a shinobi (ninja) sword with the apparence of a katana. The forms of this blade follows the functions that it serves

This is my second sword and a more authentic offering than my "holywood" Ninjato!

Here is a link to an excellent review of this sword from Sword Buyers Guide:

  • how long is the oniiyuri with ot the scabbard

  • @sinwolf12 The blade is 23" and the handle is 14"

  • Is there a store for the oniyuri in canada ?

  • @XxShadowAssass1nxX I'm not sure. I got this off the company website but I don't know whether or not they offer international shipping.

  • @XxShadowAssass1nxX I ordered mine online from the Cheness website, you'd have to contact them to see if they ship to Canada.

  • How much is it. Do they make it without a sharpend edge. Whats the total length of the blade and Tsuke together.

  • @rvking2005 It is $250, they do make a blunted version. The Chenness website doesn't give measurements for the Tsuke, but the sword is 37" tip to hilt, and the Tsuke is about 4" or so longer than the blade... that's my best guess.

  • where did u get the katanan. i have interest in sharp things

  • While this is a very good blade, it is through hardened, not differentially hardened. The hamon is fake. I'd actually prefer it have no hamon than a fake one, but I suppose it could be polished out. Thanks for taking the time to post.

  • damn brother. how bout keepin to the facts. ur dragin it out with bs. i came to see the sword. not hear your life story

  • Beside your technique.. remember Hanwei/Paul Chen swords are ''CRAZY'' sharp.. even genuine ninhonto arn't always that sharp.. although this has two side, and it's pro's and con's.. but just don't always compare with Paul Chen

  • go to history class and learn ur swords u need training u cant pick it up on ur own dumbass

  • the reason for the bad focussing is because of the light in the background..

  • @xjunior95x The katana is with a K, this is a shinobiGATANA. Like the KAMA and the KusariGAMA

  • @TheHorsenation Just a good idea

  • @xjunior95x

    let's call it Fartana :)
