Oh that sounds really horny!!

Glorious sound. I have the same car, and the manufacturers have done TOO good a job at quietening the car. Kudos to them, but it also masks their other fine achievement - the engine's lovely tone.

Was this a simple open air filter though i.e. drawing in hot air from the engine, and if so did it just make it heavier on juice?

Does anybody know if the cold air feeds give you the same lovely soundtrack whilst retaining decent economy??

the filter is an oversized cosworth ramair unit,and yes when running an open filter a good air feed is essential,bumper off for best results to feed cold air pipe in,fuel econemy is down buts thats only because i like the way it barks at 3300 rpm.i reckon on the motorway with your toe down your talking about £1 per mile..ha ha i love it
