@autosnipe2000 dont matter how it was created.. in the end all it matters is how it sounds.

@autosnipe2000 all the members are hmong. they probably had music lessons from thai professionals though, that's they're so good.
-
I happen to know them quite well and this new album is not played by Thai like the previous 3.

AWESOME BAND

i love his voice and his music and lyrics...especially the one called koj tsis yog tus swb....

@Brucelue7 But, they wont... You see, you gotta understand that majority of them cater to the old people. Old people don't want to change and they don't want to change what they hear. You can change the instruments they use, sure... but the style will always be the same. Check this out, at my new year, I saw and heard a video of LL for the 1st time. I wanted to hear the "METAL" MV, but the guy would turn to it. He didn't want to put on anything different than what was already playing around us.

love his singing...

People! Stop comparing Hmong Band like that. all hmong bands are good. If any of you guys can just give them a good advice how to improve their songs, That would be good for all the hmong.

Actaully I think their Lyrics are alright. I understand what you mean, but... you can put all the good lyrics you want on a song... if the music isn't good, it wont bring in that many fans. Trust me, American Music should be an example of that. As long as the lyrics are good enough and the music is Rockin... it's cool and you'll draw in a HUGE amount of fans.
It may not sound right, but it's the truth. You also gotta understand that many Hmong young people are getting tired of the old style.
Y do people always have to compare laib laus and sounders? Both R good bands, each with their own unique style. Can't we just be supportive of both? There's plenty of space for both bands in this tiny hmong music industry.

sound is very nice. the only concern is that i don't think these songs are played by hmong musicians. most likely by thai people, the singer is hmong, but the rest might be thai people in hmong clothes. you get the point. i could be wrong, but something sounds/looks fishy...
