  • Paul Harvey passed away exactly three weeks after this broadcast.

Shop Talk: Paul Harvey, American broadcaster and icon. Remaining relevant and working and contributing until the end of his life: some 90 years young. He was married to his Angel for 68 years in his own tournament of roses. He will be missed ... never replaced. If you think of it, when you're out under a star blanketed sky, and you benefited from his broadcasts, look up. Give a wink. The twinkle you see will be a wink back.

You're a true jackass! This man did more in his lifetime than you'll ever accomplish, you piece of scum!

  • I still miss your news commentary-listened to you ever since I was a kid. Our family never missed those newscasts! Whenever I heard "And now for what it's worth", my radio got cranked up! Almost always worth a laugh! From the point of "Hello Americans, I'm Paul Harvey-stand by for news!" to "Paul Harvey, Good day"!, he had your attention riveted. Just sad my kids will only hear this great man on old recordings!

  • Miss Paul Harvey everyday... Sad, my boys will really never know what they have missed... Listened to Paul atleast 30 years of my life... My parents listened when I was a kid... So over 30 was more like it!!!

    Good Day!!!

  • I wonder if anyone out there could compile all the paul harvey braodcasts onto a CD? I realize some of it would be outdated, but I would love to hear those stories again!
