The Sportster family is the embodiment of Harley Davidson. The very first version of this sporty Harley appeared in 1957.

  • @LinkBulletBill your whole argument is based around the jokes on a south park episode you ignorant piece of trash. people have a right to do what they want and not be slandered and persecuted by you. I'm not defending anyone here I'm just annoyed by people like you who think that we all need to make you happy. make yourself happy and if there's something in the area that makes you unhappy learn to deal with it or leave. other people dont need to change or do things just to suit you

  • Great little (compact) bike. Enough grunt to be fun, great for back road bombing, low and narrow for us wee folk (5'2'"), and with the rubber mounted engine and an oil tank that doesn't cook your leg anymore, it's an all around pleasure to ride. Not sure what all the fuss is about between brands and everything else folks are trying to tie into it. Stop using the keyboard toughguy crap and get out and ride. "Actual" reality vs "virtual" reality. Cheers.

  • @YogiPaolo Right on man. I now have a shoei full face and it is much easier to keep the head steady. Thanks for the input on the 12" shocks. That'll be next for sure.

  • @angelus6fifty The 12" shocks put the "Sport" back in sportster. I'm able to corner pretty well and can keep up with my buddy on his Thruxton in the twisties. Do you wear a half-helmet? I found that the up-force is substantially greater with my half helmet on. Even with the full-face helmet, I do find a bit of stress on my neck. I'm careful to stretch my neck at gas stops and do some forward bends also. That really helps. Just took big trip and I'm now looking at 1/4 fairings...

  • @YogiPaolo Are those 12" progressive shocks? if so, how much of an improvement did you get? Also, how do you deal with all that wind? I took a four hour trip a couple weekends ago and my neck and back are still in pain. I'm thinking of putting on drag bars just so I have more of a lean to duck under that sucker.

  • what the fuck? people should not be talking shit about another motorcycle brand. if you don't like them then GROW THE FUCK UP and deal with it. Just for the record i do not own a Harley or plan on owning a Harley.

  • @AkaGully hahah your a loser, you think gay people care about what some kid who thinks harleys are stupid has to say? and i guarantee you dont have a harley. Your just some kid with too much time on his hands and overly liberal parents, or an adult loser

  • To all the folks saying fag, or mid life crisis, here it is, just my theory. Fucking jealousy! these bikes are bought by people of a certain demographic, the hard working tax paying guy, who after raising a family, putting in count less hours at his chosen skill, dares, just once, to have a treat. You obese inbreeds hiding behind your key boards, lousing of the the benefit system these guys have made possible for you, then post your worthless crap on here, fuck all you haters :)

  • Cool looking Sporty; I would prefer the forward foot controls, though.
