  • @eshedu1 i have an acoustic research beltdriven turntable i which was made in 1984 and it still sounds and play records very well.

  • @jogmas12

IT IS ONLY TAX FOR STUPID PEOPLE.

    30.000 TURNTABLE???????

TECHNICS SL 1200MK, WITH REGA OR SME TONEARM,WITH DENON 103R-OR SHELTER 501 WILL WIN OVER VPI ANY TIME,

VPI TONEArm is rubish. you add the same tone armS(REGA-SME_ on vpi tt,..SL1200 STILL WILL BE BETTER AND LESS WOW AND FLUTTE. 300%

WHY??BECOSE OF DIRECT DRIVE,BEST D DRIVE EVER MADE,

SO MY FRIEND DONT WASTE 30.000$,BUY TECHNICS SL 1200MK2,ADD REGA 300 OR 700,OR SME 501,WITH 103R DENON CART,AND YOU DONT NEED EVER AGAIN TT,

  • @eshedu1 why are the most expensive turntables in the world belt driven? Some costing in upwards of $30,000? Check out VPI's turntables you will be amazed.

  • @jogmas12 YOU ARE WRONG

lowest wow, flutter IS ON TECHNICS SL1200MK

NO BELT DRIVEN TT NEVER CAN PRODUCE EVEN CLOSER SPECIFICATION OF SL 1200MK,

    EXCEPT AFTER SMOKING POT!!!!!!!!

  • @dregenius why are all high level turntables belt driven? even some costing as much as $30,000

  • @jogmas12 Not another direct drive hater... Seriously, does direct drive produce a little more noise? Certainly. But I can say that the noise generated from my SL-1200M3D isn't noticeable even with unshielded Grado cartridges. So for those looking to bash the 1200, start looking for weak points elsewhere besides direct drive because the durability and reliability of these things is remarkable. This SL-1200 will be playing like new 10 years after your belts have rotted and your motor burns up.

  • @pikotaboada wrong. you need to look at the youtube video showing edgar villchur, the creator of the AR turntable, in that video he talks about turntable design and you will see that belt driven units have the lowest wow, flutter and rumble. Just type AR turntable Edgar Villchur.

  • @jogmas12 Belt drive=speed inaccuracy.

  • so fuc@in beautifull man. amazing..

  • @jogmas12 You're an idiot. That's a mint condition SL 1200. Show some respect
