  • By the way this band is now broken up and I will be removing these videos soon.

  • also why not play an sg, it cost the sme as a les paul, you're not covering led zeppelin after all...

  • @LetsGoMetsGo33 Um, if you watch some of the other videos you would see that I use an SG for the standard tuning songs, and the downtuned Les Paul copy for the C# tuned songs. I already owned the Les Paul, and I could not afford to buy 2 SG's to cover the tuning problem. You... do know that Sabbath used two different tunings, right???

  • @Raddion ok that's a good explanation. i got one guitar, a red epiphone sg, plays great, got it 4 like $250 on ebay. but i'm a crap undisciplined punk rock player. for sabbath, i mostly just fool around with the awesome power chord parts, but i just play by ear from memory, and probably pick a random key to play in. anyway your response made me confused about a video i watched recently. check out "tony iommi lesson" by the snowblindwizard. at 2:24 tony says he mostly uses only 1 guitar 4 a show.

  • @LetsGoMetsGo33 Tony Iommi tuned to standard tuning on Black Sabbath, Paranoid, Technical Ecstacy and Never Say Die. He Tuned his guitar to C# for Master Of Reality, Vol 4, SBS and Sabotage. However, when played live, since the mid-'70's he for some reason prefers to play all the songs in the downtuned key of C#. In my opinion this makes songs like Iron Man and War Pigs sound dirge-like and lifeless, I wanted everything to sound the same as it did on the records so I used the two guitars.

  • LOL, I always knew Ozzy had a clone...

  • Ozzy's voice is diverse from other vocalists today. I still believe that his vocals can hit the center of the heart. But when Ozzy went solo on his band. He reaped millions of dollars in American Money in his lifetime. I still believe the Britains have a cool sense of humor and some compassion.

  • it's a good cover. bass player reminds me of Rudolph Shenker!!

don't pull this down man....64K hits...might as well leave it up...great song and fun to hear this alternate version.

  • @Raddion Ok, that's interesting. And it makes sense, things did get even heavier with Master of Reality and then somewhat less heavy again with Tech Ec. Sorry about the band breaking up, hope the members find new opportunities to kee the doom alive.

  • singer looks like ozzy and does his foghorn voice justice. the axemen need mustaches, lol.
