  • The pieces played here form the final few minutes of a 45 minute piece that Eddie McGuire wrote as a finale for the 1997 'Festival Interceltique de Lorient' which brought The Whistlebinkies together with the Festival Orchestra, Flint Male Voice Choir, Scottish Power Pipe Band, Emma Christian (voice), Flory Neff (Irish pipes), Anton Davila (gaita pipes), John Kenny (carnyx) and Breton Bombardes. It was repeated in Glasgow and in Lorient in 1999. The score is at the Scottish Music Centre library.

  • What a pity you didn't shoot close ups of all the musicians, as they played!! :-(
