  • They were called the Rock City Rockers, and they were really good. Some years later, the Rock Steady Crew would actually travel to my block (173rd St. btwn. St. Nick & Wadsworth Ave.) to battle RCR. Of course, Rock Steady won, but it was a very close battle. These are some of my best memories ever!!

    wish i had been around and in nyc for the birth of hip-hop.

    at least it is being kept alive by S&C and others in order for young people like myself to learn bout the past in order to appreciate it!

  • How can I find this?I looked everywhere and nothing. It's not BDP - South Bronx, so what is it? Of course KRS, but which track? Help please.
