On April 25, 2012, firefighters and the public climbed he equivalent of 110 stories to honor the 343 FDNY firefighters who died on 9-11. The climb occurred at the Hilton Washington as part of the annual gathering of the Congressional Fire Services Institute. The climb is a preview to the climbs that will be held all across the country on September 11, 2012.
